Cheema will be holding their 11th annual Paddle-a-thon fundraiser on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Cheema is a not for profit sports organization. In the past, the paddle-a-thon has helped raise money to purchase summer program boats, paddles, dragon boat and swim docks, which are used and enjoyed by our summer program kids. This summer all money raised from the paddle-a-thon will be used to purchase new boats and paddles for our summer program kids.
Thank you for your support of Cheema, all contributions are greatly appreciated.
All Pledge sheets (and pledges) can be returned to your coach, Emma Miller or Keira Hewitt.
This year there are exciting new changes in the U11 regattas and the first U13 and U15 regattas.
In an effort to encourage participation, focus on skill development and team participation, the first regatta of the year has been re-structured. Please see attached presentation. This new format should allow all our paddlers, whether new or experienced, to begin the season with a positive regatta experience.
I will be at Cheema on Monday afternoon at 4PM to answer any questions that you have concerning the new format.

For the third year in a row, Cheema has proudly shown to the country that Cheema power is still going strong! this year our athletes and coaches traveled to Regina, Saskachewan to race. With over 50 athletes ranging from the age of 12 to not quite senior citizen age they all proudly came home with at least one medal.
