The 8th anuual paddle-a-thon will take place Friday morning, July 20th, a bbq with treats will follow this event. In the past the paddle-a-thon has helped raise money for the docks, dragon boat, pleasure canoes, summer boats and paddles, as in previous years it helps keep the summer rates at an affordable price. Funds raised from our 2011 paddle-a-thon went towards the purchase of Cheema's new swim docks. Thank you to everyone who has helped with this event in the past, with money raised, pledges given and volunteering or taking part in this event.

There are several new items at the paddle-a-thon arcade this year, some samples will be available opening day so the kids can see the prizes they can earn if they collect pledges for this summers paddle-a-thon, the ever popular candy toss will end the day.

Cheema Alert

This weekend our Coaches and athletes will resume training at Cheema. Thanks again to the Keevill's and Maskwa for sharing their lakefront during the last six weeks. With the boathouse project moving along on schedule we will be fully operational with a brand new boathouse and renovated Clubhouse to greet the Summer Program. Thanks to our Project Team and all those who donated for making this happen.
